Mr. Richard Young
MA BM BCh FRCS FRCS(Plast) is a Consultant Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, wtih a special interest in facial reconstruction. A core member of the Skin Cancer Team, he works closely with colleagues in Oculoplastic, Maxillofacial, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Neuro-surgery. He believes teaching and training are crucial to the charity’s work. Richard studied medicine at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and completed specialist and higher surgical training in Hong Kong, London and Belgium.

Eimear Murphy RGN
RGN, MSc is a highly-respected Plastic Surgery Nurse Consultant. She has been involved in Facing the World and the Vietnam Programme since its planning stages. She has also volunteered in Pakistan and Haiti after the earthquakes. Eimear and her team of nurse specialists look after our patients during their recuperation.
Mr. Niall Kirkpatrick
BDS MB BS MD FRCS(Eng) FRCS(Plast) is a previous President of the Plastic Surgery section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry, and is a Consultant Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon, head and clinical lead of the multi-disciplinary Craniofacial & Orbito-Palpebral Surgery Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, and a member of the Head and Neck cancer team at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. He is the Medical Director of Facing the World.
Mr. David Dunaway
MB ChB BDS FRCS FDSRCS FRCS(Plast) is a Consultant Craniofacial Surgeon and leads the craniofacial service at the Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He is also a member of the multi-disciplinary facial deformity service for adults, which is based at University College London Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital. In addition, he regularly undertakes voluntary work in Ghana.
