Our Work

Facing the World provides life-changing treatment for children from the developing world with severe facial disfigurements.

We do this in two ways –

We bring children with extremely severe conditions, which cannot be treated locally, to the UK for surgery.
We provide training to develop the skills of local healthcare teams so that in the future, the complex level of care and treatment required by the children can be delivered at a local level.
