Prime Minister honours Facing the World’s Katrin Kandel

Facing the World’s Executive Director Katrin Kandel has been singled out by Prime Minister Theresa May’s Points of Light Programme for the excellent work the charity has done in Vietnam to help children with horrific facial disfigurement. The Points of Light award recognises outstanding volunteers.

In the Prime Minister’s own words, “Inspirational partnerships have been built between UK and Vietnamese doctors, helping to provide life-changing surgeries for hundreds of children in Hanoi and Da Nang.”
